University of Michigan Law Quad Engagement Session

This beautiful University of Michigan Law Quad engagement session couldn’t have come at a better time. Let me explain why. The day before, I drove 3 hours to go shoot an amazing wedding. Later that night instead of going home I then drove 4 hours back north (1.5 hours past my house) to spend the night. I then got up before the sun to do a beautiful sunrise engagement session for one of my wonderful couples (on like 4 hours of sleep). I am sufficiently dead at this point. However, I wasn’t done yet I had a sunset engagement session for this gorgeous couple that night. So I drove 1.5 hours back south and cozied up in a Panera Bread all day working. Guys, I was about to fall asleep at this point and no amount of coffee was going to fix that. So it’s time for this University of Michigan Law Quad engagement session and holy crap this place is more dreamy in person than I could have ever imagined. It felt like I was in a quaint little European town. It was PERFECT! Then my couple showed up!

Laurie and Daniel walked in so bubbly and full of energy I couldn’t help but instantly wake up being surrounded by so much beauty and infectious energy radiating off the two of them! They made my job sooo easy! I barely had to do anything besides capture them being themselves. Daniel wouldn’t stop trying to make Laurie laugh, giggle, and smile. Later on in the session I found of why! He wouldn’t stop whispering NSFW things in her ear 🙂 I’m pretty sure Laurie is a model because I didn’t have to tell her anything. I’d asked her to look at the camera and BAM!!! Instant perfection. Just scroll through the gallery and you’ll see what I’m talking about!

Laurie and Daniel, thank you sooo much for being the best end to a very fun, but super exhausting weekend. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to photograph while being that tired. I still had an hour drive home after and you can be sure I instantly hit the bed!
