Royal Park Hotel Wedding | Mariella and Raymond

OBSESSED! The first word that comes to mind when I think about Mariella and Ray’s Royal Park Hotel Wedding! It could not have been more perfect! Mariella was STUNNING in her sleek and elegant Rebecca Ingram dress! Just a sidebar, how many exclamation points is too many exclamation points. I have already used one for each of the first 4 sentences. There will be loads more coming just fyi! The day started in the bridal suite at the Royal Park Hotel with Mariella and her girls getting the finishing touches of hair and makeup done! The room was buzzing with excitement and anticipation!

Fast forward to the first look shared between Mari and Ray, there might have been a few tears from Ray! After some portraits at the Hotel we headed over to the Rochester Municipal Park nearby. That same park has such a special meaning to these two. It’s where Ray popped the question to Mariella AND where we took their engagement photos last fall! So what better place to take their wedding photos and for everything to come full circle for these two. I have no doubt that when they visit the park in the future they won’t be able to help but relive all the special moments and amazing memories that have happened there!

Their ceremony is one I have never experienced before and felt so honored to be able to capture for the two of them. It was a traditional Romanian Orthodox Wedding held at The Descent of the Holy Spirit Church. I love being able to experience and photograph other cultures and the traditions that come along with those. The church was also insanely beautiful!!!

Lastly, we headed back to the Hotel for the party! We took even more gorgeous Bride and Groom portraits outside the Atrium courtyard. We got so lucky and the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom. After a quick dress change into the cutest sparkly cocktail dress the party began. I have to give a shoutout to Casey at Rusch Entertainment. He kept the party going all night and Mari and Ray’s guests never left the dance floor! Despite the timing of the day being a little thrown off, Nikki Johns Events held the day together like a champ as well!

Mariella and Raymond, your Royal Park Hotel Wedding was incredible to be a part of. All of your friends and family are the sweetest and made us feel at home and so welcomed! You two are amazing people and I am so happy I got to witness your celebration!
