I know I probably say this too much, but Patricia and Christopher’s wedding at Royal Park Hotel was one of my favorites ever!! Their stunning spring wedding featured an ombre lavender color palette (that was perfect for the season and that I am OBSESSED with) and a whole lot of love. Seriously, guests traveled far and wide for this one – some all the way from India – and I can say unequivocally that it was WORTH IT. I’ve been dying to share their wedding at Royal Park Hotel on the blog with you!
Their Wedding at Royal Park Hotel
Their gorgeous spring wedding at Royal Park Hotel started in their hotel room for some “traditional” getting-ready photos. I got straight to work not only photographing some “behind the scenes” of the bride and her bridal party getting ready but also of as many of the gorgeous details as possible (keep scrolling to see her wedding shoes!). I also absolutely loved the mismatched wedding dresses in ombre shades of lavender. There really wasn’t anything I didn’t immediately love about this wedding at Royal Park Hotel!!
After hair and makeup were done, I set Patricia and Christopher up for a first look outside the hotel. It was incredibly sweet – probably because the two of them know each other so well (and you can feel the love between them clearly!). These two were friends in Kindergarten in India! Christopher moved to Michigan when he was 10 and these two reconnected on Facebook back in 2011 and have been long-distance ever since! When Patricia moved to the US, she actually moved to Georgia to go to school to be an Architect and got a job there shortly after so the long-distance saga continued!
This wedding at Royal Park Hotel was a long time coming – but it was pure magic. Their first look was so sweet and emotional that I’m surprised I didn’t start bawling behind the camera!

Lavender Inspiration at their Wedding at Royal Park Hotel
Patricia and Christopher’s wedding was originally supposed to be in 2020, but with the Pandemic (and lots of international guests!) they moved it to 2022. The two of them were so incredibly thoughtful of every single guest that took the time to celebrate with them – they made sure to spend time with each and every one of them (not always an easy feat – as anybody who has ever planned a wedding knows!).
While they were mingling with their guests during cocktail hour, I snuck into their wedding at Royal Park Hotel reception location to snap some detailed shots of their lavender wedding decor. From tall pillar candles, gorgeous organic floral arrangements, and a 4 tier wedding cake that had my jaw dropping to the floor – the venue was stunning. I snuck Patricia in to see it too before her guests entered so she could see all of her hard work in wedding planning come to life!
