Everything about working with Laurie and Daniel from the first moment I met them had been so much fun! We hit it off at their client meeting chatting like old friends over coffee! The night was full of laughter and stories about how they met and their relationship together. I knew their jewel toned Tecumseh wedding would be full of more of the same. I really got to know them at their engagement session at The Law Quad at The University of Michigan. It was non stop joking, smiles, and laughter. I loved every minute of the shoot and felt like I had made friends that day!
That brings us to their wedding. We started off the day at a gorgeous cottage on a lake that the whole bridal party had rented for the weekend! I knew their wedding day would be a lot of fun once I met their friends. They were just like Laurie and Daniel, super laid back with a I just want to party attitude. From there we got on a trolley (yes I said trolley!) to take us all over downtown Tecumseh for portraits. We found a beautiful park, walked the streets downtown, then ended at the farmer’s market.
One thing I absolutely love about Daniel is his passion for bourbon. They specifically chose their gorgeous venue based on the one fact that they served bourbon. They loved so many other venues, but The Landing Hall in Tecumseh was the only one that let their dreams come true! I’m not kidding when I say Daniel is obsessed with the stuff. They were able to beautifully incorporate it into every part of the decor throughout the venue.
I had soo much fun being a part of their day. I felt like a part of the celebration! Everyone was so sweet and welcoming.
