Rebecca and Ben met at a friends party and from the moment she saw him Rebecca knew she needed to get to know him. They have been together ever since then.

Their engagement story is one that most girls would swoon over. They were on Vacation in Ireland, yes I said Ireland! Ben found this castle that inside had this rose garden and a water fountain. In this incredibly breathtaking country, inside this gorgeous, magical castle, Ben popped the question to Rebecca. In a location straight out of a fairytale!!! This is something most girls would die for and would love to be able to brag about to their friends, but honestly, after meeting the two of them I don’t think they are ones to care about what others think. Rebecca seems like someone who would have been just as happy being proposed to at home with a ring pop while sitting on the couch watching a movie. That is how you know you are marrying your person!

The two of them are so much fun to be around. At their downtown Detroit engagement session they were having so much fun laughing and dancing, sometimes it seemed like they forgot someone was taking their picture 🙂 Those types of clients are the best, because even though I am directing them I didn’t have to do anything to bring out the genuine emotion. It was already there and I am the lucky one who gets to document it!

They are just genuinely nice people who are living life to actually LIVE it not to just walk through the day to day. I admire that so much! The world needs more people like them! Okay I’m done gushing. Rebecca and Ben you guys were seriously so amazing, but let’s be honest, little Socrates was the real star of the session! I can’t wait for your wedding in September!
