I loved every minute of Delanie and Kyle’s blush toned Riverside Golf Club wedding! Originally I met the two of them through a Skype session. I am definitely not local to the couple and am based out of the Detroit area. Immediately, I could tell that I was going to love working with them! Delanie was so bubbly and full of life and Kyle was super sweet and kind hearted.

Throughout the process of working with the two of them, Delanie honestly started to feel more like a friend than a client. I try my best to really get to know my couples throughout the process of working together, and I want them to feel like they can count on me for anything. I will be the person you spend the most time with on your wedding day. The bride usually spends more time with me than their own fiance on the day of!

I met them in person for the first time when Delanie sweetly surprised Kyle with a trip to Detroit to see the Red Wings play. Conveniently, they were able to slip in a sunrise engagement session in Downtown Detroit before they left. They were exactly the people I had met through the video chat. I don’t think I have ever seen someone as happy as Delanie. Her personality was so infectious. It was mid-December and super cold outside, but she continued to smile through it anyway!

Delanie and Kyle are the type of couple I dream about working with! Photography was super important to them! Details were super important to them, and capturing those in between moments that not everyone will see on the day of! When I walked into the bridal suite my inner photographer was jumping for joy! I had all the little details to play with. The invitation, the shoes, the jewelry, the perfume, and the rings! Not to mention her dress was beautiful!

All of the day took place at Riverside Golf Club and we had free reign of the course for portraits. I ended up driving a golf cart for the first time. Heads up, know how to put it in park BEFORE you start driving! Delanie was for sure a good sport letting me drive her around! Their ceremony was in a lovely spot up on a hill overlooking the entire course. There were a few mishaps with the wind, but it was so beautiful you would never have even known.

Once the party started you could see how loved these two people are! So many of their family and friends surrounded them with all the much deserving praise and congratulations. Delanie and Kyle, working with you two has been such a joy, honor, and privilege. I couldn’t have asked for two more perfect people to spend the day with.
