It’s my first wedding of the 2020 season!!! Tiffany and Damien’s Navy and Burgundy Laurel Manor Wedding was the perfect way to kick it off. The unfortunate situation that we find our country in means this wedding was very close to not happening as there is now 3 days after their wedding a ban on gatherings of 50+ people in the state of Michigan. It was nice to have a little hope and love in the midst of these uncertain times our country and world finds itself in.
I met Tiffany and Damien last year at our meeting at Starbucks. From the moment we started chatting I knew they would be the perfect fit! Damien was so lively and Tiffany was more cool and collected. It was cemented at their downtown Detroit engagement session. In the short time that I’ve known them I can see how well they compliment each other’s personalities. Tiffany mentioned in her speech at the reception that she never thought marriage was in the cards for her. However, she had finally met the person that all that would change for, her other half. She knew in her heart that Damien was the person to make her change her mind. She knew that if it wasn’t with Damien she would not have gotten married. I love that what they feel for each other is so strong it can overcome anything. That is the type of love everyone deserves to find in this world.
Tiffany and Damien I am so glad I got to know you two. Your wedding was sooo much fun! Seriously, like the most fun! I know how much work planning this wedding has been. It was beautiful and so full of life just like the two of you!!! I wish you every happiness and make sure to stay safe in the crazy times were are in right now.
